Summer 2007: The original Sustainability Report, which can be found here.

Fall 2007: Formation of SSTF. Plans were laid in place for later events and projects.

Spring 2008: What’s Your Vision? Changing the Climate at RPI. This was SSTF’s kick-off event featuring posters, speakers, and food. Ideas were written down to help guide SSTF.

Summer 2008: SSTF presented at the Institute Retreat.

Fall 2008:

Spring 2009: Members of SSTF attended Power Shift 2011 in Washington, DC. This is a nation-wide conference run by Energy Action Coalition to bring students together to network, learn about sustainability issues, and learn how to create change on their campus. The inaugural Sustainability Charrette was held to determine RPI’s next steps. This event was initiated by President Jackson and included a great deal of SSTF involvement.

Spring 2011: Members of SSTF attended Power Shift 2011 in Washington, DC. This is a nation-wide conference run by Energy Action Coalition to bring students together to network, learn about sustainability issues, and learn how to create change on their campus.

Fall 2013: Members of SSTF attended Power Shift 2013 in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a nation-wide conference run by Energy Action Coalition to bring students together to network, learn about sustainability issues, and learn how to create change on their campus. Several projects to enhance communication and networking were instituted, including the RPI Students for the Environment Facebook Group and an environmental club officers email list.

Spring 2014: Sustainability Report 2014.  This report measures RPI against the AASHE (Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education) STARS 2.0 metrics.  The full report can be found here, or you can check out SSTF’s pages on the report here.  These pages will be updated as is feasible.
