Amelia Grimm Blauw

SSTF AmeliaAmelia Grimm Blauw is the Outreach Coordinator for the Student Sustainability Task Force at RPI. If you are interested in collaborating with SSTF, joining, or just learning more, feel free to contact her at grimma2@rpi.edu! She first became involved with SSTF in the fall of 2015 as secretary for that academic year, and has since enjoyed going on service trips, writing for the Poly and Sustainability Newsletters, and making new friends at meetings.

Originally from the Chicagoland area, she has a keen interest in data visualization and how open data can be used for activism. This summer she is working at a private equity firm in Chicago, and during the school year she is a proud EMPAC employee. Previously she has been involved in air pollution governance research on campus, and plans to study GIS in the coming semester. She loves keeping a jungle of houseplants in her dorm room, and is always excited to learn new ways to promote environmentalism and sustainability.

Amelia Grimm Blauw is a Senior STS (Science Technology Studies) major, class of 2017.
