Katelynn Vega is the Vice Chair of SSTF. She is a Biomedical Engineer in the Class of 2020.

Andrew Hartana is Secretary of SSTF. He is an Environmental Engineer Class of 2021.

Matthew Cherry – SSTF Treasurer – I study Mechanical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I graduated from Hudson Valley Community College and transferred to RPI in 2017. I’m a Christian, and I’m a part of the Rensselaer Christian Association on campus. My coursework includes a Sustainability by Design course, in which I’m working in a group to develop a method to recycle plastic bottles that may later be used as plastic filament for 3D printers in the Forge Lab. I’m originally from the greater capital district, so I have a heart for the area and I’d love to see improvements to the community to make the area more sustainable for generations to come!

Maya Navabi is the Outreach Coordinator and is a Mechanical Engineer, Class of 2020. Maya is from Tucson, Arizona. On campus, she likes to sit in the library and drink coffee, while off campus she likes to drink coffee in places with lots of windows. She has two dogs, cares a lot about the environment, and wants to help make RPI more sustainable in practice. If you are interested in collaborating with SSTF, joining, or just learning more, feel free to contact her at navabm@rpi.edu!

Justina Thompson is the Sodexo Greening Project Lead. Her freshman year she got involved with SSTF. She now is the RA to Vasudha Living and Learning. She is a Sustainability and DIS Dual Major in the Class of 2021.
